Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Project Update:
The National Park Service resumed C&O Canal boat tours earlier this summer. The Terra structural stabilization project, completed in April, was performed to stabilize, protect, and preserve a section of the canal wall in historic Georgetown. The revitalized boat tour provides the opportunity for visitors to experience a historical perspective of travelling in one of our nations oldest infrastructure projects.
